重要的信息 for 国际学生

国际学生必须在注册课程之前申请入读love爱博. Find out about the admission procedure and requirements below.
 

要被love爱博录取，国际学生必须提交一份申请 招生办公室 下列各项:

1. Official transcript of high school record, showing that the average grade was at least C. Evaluated English translation must accompany any transcript which is not in English.
2. Competence in the English language as evidenced by a 托福考试 (Test of English as a Second Language) score of at least 61(iBT) or 500(IPT); IELTS (国际 English Language Testing System) score of 5.5; or STEP (Society for Testing English Proficiency) Eiken score Pre-First. (see the exceptions below);
3. 医疗记录表格, including current TB test, completed and signed by a physician attesting to the student's good health; and
4. 支持宣誓书 由对学生的经济支持承担全部责任的人出具的证明声明和担保人银行的银行信函.

 

Evidence of Competence in the English language 异常 #1: (1) A student from a country w在这里 English is the native language or from a country exempt from the 托福考试; or (2) a student who has graduated from an accredited high school in the United States or from an accredited American high school overseas; or (3) a student who is applying for admission to the Alabama Language Institute (ALI).  For more information on the ALI program, click 在这里.

Evidence of Competence in the English language 例外2: 从地区认可机构成功完成英语作文101或更高，成绩为C或以上的转学生免考托福.

Evidence of Competence in the English language 除了# 3: 在阿拉巴马州语言学院完成至少一个16周的最高级别(5级)课程的学生可以进入学院学习 & 6) in 口语/听力, 阅读, 语法, 作文, and either 词汇表2 or 托福考试策略; (2) passed all five skill areas with at least a “B”; and (3) has a written recommendation from the ALI faculty to enter college.

 

注意事项1: A transfer student (that is, a student who has attended one or more U. S. colleges and/or universities other than GSCC, and who wishes to pursue an education at GSCC, 还必须确保学生就读的每个学院和/或大学的注册主任直接将正式的学习成绩成绩单发送给GSCC. 除了, 学生必须向国际项目办公室提交一份完整的转学许可表.

注意# 3: In order to comply with Alabama Community College System requirements, 所有持有F-1或M-1签证的学生必须购买经加兹登州国际项目办公室批准的健康保险.  Insurance must be maintained during all periods of enrollment, vacation and OPT.
